	Hartford Steam Company implements actions in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic
	
 WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 2020
 
 Hartford Steam Company has been continuously 
	monitoring the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak around the 
	world and across the US through updates from the Centers for Disease Control 
	and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and federal, state and 
	local governments. Given the WHO has declared the coronavirus a pandemic and to protect the health and wellbeing of its employees and maintain critical business operations, Hartford Steam is following guidelines set by the CDC, as well as our Business Continuity Plan and has implemented the following:
 
		Restricted employee travel to all 
		external meetings, effective March 12.Restricted visitors to the Hartford 
		Steam facilities and cancelled all tours.Enhanced the cleaning protocols at our 
		facilities, focusing on high-touch areas and hard surfaces.Prepared for non-essential employees 
		to work from home, if it becomes necessary.Reminded employees to practice social 
		distancing and to stay home if sick.Developed safeguards to minimize risk 
		and exposure to personnel.
